Staff Training and Patient Education

WebEx LogoHeartland Kidney Network developed the online educational program in an effort to continue providing high quality and convenient learning opportunities to the Network renal community and the general population. The Network works with dialysis facilities, professional groups and community-based agencies and organizations to create educational programs for patients, family members, dialysis staff and the general population.
Training sessions are created in consultation and are tailored specifically to meet the needs of the target population. The program is intended to educate Social Workers, Dietitians, Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, licensed physicians and others. Each program strives to offer a variety of current topics and new technologies to address the changing needs of the renal patient population. The programs are constantly evaluated to ensure they are being presented through the most applicable and effective methods. Heartland Kidney Network is committed to providing quality continuing education to dialysis staff members. Network staff can present training sessions or materials can be made available to facility staff for presentation.
Recorded Webinar sessions, PowerPoint presentations and other educational resources are available here .If you don’t have the opportunity to attend the training session, please review the FREE online educational resources.
